was wondering if someone on here would be willing to point me in the right direction on starting to guide bowfishing trips. Maybe a copy of your waver so i could get an idea on how to word one and if i will need more than just my boat insurance which has a liability coverage as well. I know i will need to purchase a guide license from game and fish. Just looking for some pointers, maybe it can pay for my fuel and arrows, reels and stuff.

Here is the issue! Contact the USCG and ask them the same question and see what kind of response you get.

Well the federal government can excersize constitutional authority over any public body of water according to the above then, therefor any water could be deemed navigable! Although I understood navagable as more of the technical definitions given and not the legal authority of the constitution

Above it stated that "(2) Other waters over which the Federal Government may exercise Constitutional authority. " This means any public water body in the U.S.! And on the flooded river circumstance that is definitely a gray area seeing as how you are still in public water, it just happens to be flooded waters

To me, it sounds like for the small time guys that the fresh water guide service is good but to stay away from these waters that are deemed "navigable" but for those that are a more serious legitimate guide service like Steve then the OUPV is definitely the way to go
