if you have never had one come apart then you should be scared because they throw pieces everywhere they threw pieces all the way to the front of my 22" boat

no after the third one in four weeks blew up and never lasted a night i would like to know what is wrong or maybe it cant hold up to a 20.5 hp engine
You're going to need to ship what's left of that fan and hub back to me so I can inspect it. I've sold at least 500 hascon fans now, many of which get used on engines 150 horsepower or more (not a typo, these have been used at 43" and 180 horse on Formula 1 race hovercraft). Horsepower is not an issue, and blades don't just break on their own.

The first time something went through the prop, so that's obvious. The second time, since only one blade was replaced I would guess that the other blades had damage which wasn't noticed. But, this third set I cut and sent out personally. If it only lasted 30 minutes, then I am absolutely positive that there is something else going on either with hub damage or assembly.

Ok, I just got one in today and I hope like heck nothing like this happens to mine or I will be a tid-bit unhappy :tap:

I've went out of my way to help you three times in a row now, so the public bashing is not appreciated. The first order you placed, I called the factory and had them move your fan directly to the front of the queue because you called at 3pm on a Thursday and wanted it sent over night for a Friday delivery. After I made the calls and got this fan built you then told me you couldn't pay for it until the next day. The 2nd order I did the same thing again because you wanted one blade sent out 2nd day for a tournament. The 3rd order, which was a set of blades, I disassembled my own personal fan I had ready to install in my own hovercraft then cut them down in my own shop (which I've never done for a customer ever) simply because I wanted to help you out and you needed them right away, AND I only charged my cost on them!

I have tried my best to help you out and I'm really sorry you're having trouble. I know this isn't what you want to hear, but as I've said on the phone, when you're the first person in 4 years of sales and over 500 fans sold to break 3 sets of blades, I'm doubtful that the product is to blame.

well the second day air turned into ground shipping at second day price with no adjustment on the shipping charge and the thursday i called you for the first prop i got a price and you checked to see if it could be overnighted you called me back and said yes it could and i told you ok i will order first thing in the morning. now you tell me you just sent me a set of blades that have already been mounted on a motor maybe the running of them and then cutting them disturbed the integrety of the blade on this last set causing them to explode and im not public bashing i asked if anyone else was having problems with there prop and they asked why so i told them

have somewhere around 60+ hours on mine running direct drive on an 18 horse with no trouble at all. Have had nothing but good dealings in regards to customer service as well from Slipstream. Sry to hear about your luck and im sure jason will do whatever he can to help.
