Mike,yes your 24 volt....all the LEDS I have ever had were 12 or 24 volt

 

should be pos to pos to plug and neg to neg to plug for 12 volts. What you did was stack 12 volts on top of 12 volts by hooking the pos of one battery onto the neg of the other.

 

Ok so am I ok doing it this way? Am I losing anything doing it this way? I am just looking for a way that maximizes time on the water. I hate that this electrical stuff makes no sense to me.

 

IMO 24v is better, you can run smaller wire and you wont have to run battery isolators so they wont be draining each other down

 

Ok thanks Jeff I will keep doing it this way. Shot a bunch of tilapia and carp last night, filled the barrel twice with carp and the tilapia averged 5 lbs with one at about 7 lb.

 

Post some pics of those tilapia.

 

yea,Mike what you hooked up is 24 volt,and is fine,maybe I didnt word it properly

 

by the way Mike....where did you get those boots on your connects?Only suppliers I can find are in the UK

 

I think I bought them at Orvac Electronics here in the OC.

 

I would like to know also do you have a link for those connectors/boots?
