Ive never shot a carp off a bank. Ive seen many videos of creeks loaded with carp. But in my area, almost impossible to shoot from the bank. I think it's time to travel this summer and go shoot some fish with Donnie!

I started out that way when I was a little kid. I use to wrestle the little buggers when the ponds flooded the fields by my house when I was too little to draw a recurve. Then I got a recurve and a hand wrap reel........ and it was all down hill form there

I walk a creek every few days Adnd shoot them up till I get a boat

I shot hundreds as a kid wading and shooting the banks. Before I had a boat I'd wade out in the lake ( really clear water) and stick some if waste deep water. I miss the simper days some times

Thanks Mike :tu:
Maybe rename it to bank shooters tips and tricks?
First one I can think of is try to shoot downstream going up, that way your shots dont mess up the next shot with the mud clouds :tu:

I have shot many times from the bank....especially when I first started...Get a bow mounted light for night shooting and bring your wheaties..LOL I have walked miles in the hunt for fish. Sometimes some simple corn cumming can bring the carp to you.

I am certainly no expert. But here in Canada 95% of my shooting is from shore. I can shoot just as many from shore as I can in the boat so why burn gas We have no night time shooting and can only bowfish 3 months of the year here. Got lots of very exciting things happening to me here from doing a sport that is virtually unheard of in Canada. Will share events at a later date.

Corn cumming ?? Uh don't know what to say to that one buddy

Just checking there is counseling for fetishes so if u need to go to one do it sooner rather than later
