Bought my first ams reel last spring and love it. Bought my son one for christmas and can't wait for ice out here in Illinois. One question I have is why can't the reel be made with a higher gear ratio for faster retrieve?
Was hoping someone from ams would answer this question. I'm sure there is a good reason the retrieve is slow or they would have made their reels with a faster retrieve. Just wondering............
