Just curious if yall have noticed a high thrust prop making your steering difficult?
I got my boat out for the first time since the rebuild. My kicker steering is super hard while in gear or under power. I can put it in neutral and steer it with two fingers, but it gets tougher the higher the rpms while in gear. When wide open, I have to almost lean on the stick to get it to turn. Fishing speed, say 1/4-1/2 throttle its hard enough to get tiring after a couple hours. Mercury 9.9 pro kicker with 10x7 4 blade high thrust prop.
Have yall had any dealings with this? Im convinced its the prop or something related causing it, because it's free while in neutral.
