No practicing during season just try to get out as much as I can whether it is out on the boat day or night or walking the banks, doesn't matter to me. During the winter I'll throw out some poker chips in the snow and shoot them but not really practicing just something to do
THat is a damn expensive bowfishing bow there haha. Shoot at pencils in the yard if ya want, but the only true practice is to get out and fish like said above. Don't ruin that bow shooting fish, pick you up a cheap kids bow and go get bloody.
thank you guys. I need to learn the refraction so I will sink some cans at various depths and shoot at them I guess.Thank you for all of the tips. I work 6 days a week and have a family at home so getting out is a little hard, but I think I am going to start going after work on Saturdays and Sundays because we close at 5pm.
I shoot in the yard to just practice my aim. As far as practice for shooting fish I found shooting at trash in the lake works pretty good. Main thing is just to shoot as much as possible and you'll eventually get the hang of it.
