With the outboard and what motor and setup do you have?
I have shot at a few but never hit any of them. Course the airboat guys talk about running dry ground...never shot a fish there either. :laugh:ive never shot our caught a fish goin that fast anyway.lol
Same engine and prop as Butch, 2 ft shorter hull, gps says 47 with 3 people, and a full 80 gallons, and in deep water...45 gps with 80 gal. gas------and 3 plp. and gear
EXACTLY!!Same engine and prop as Butch, 2 ft shorter hull, gps says 47 with 3 people, and a full 80 gallons, and in deep water...
all boats are different, when you get the right hull/motor combination you can get some impressive results.
My dad has a 1756 alumacraft bass boat. It can beat my buddy's 18' ski boat with a 150 merc. I never thought it was possible, but it did, I beat him out the hole, and stayed ahead of him for 16 miles up the Yazoo River. I am sure if he played around with his prop pitch and adjusted the height of his outboard, the results would be different, but as it sits, a little ole 1756 with a 70 yamaha two stroke beat a boat with a 150...
Power to weight ratio is the key...
Dude that's flyin in that thing!:hb:...must be fun!15ft carolina skiff 90hp suzuki! rolls out 62mph! If your not first your last!
