80# MinnKota on a G3 1966 can cruze all day at about 3.3 Mph.:tu:

Just bored it out, ported and polished exhaust ports havent got to run it out yet with the rebuild still breaking in but it feels a lil more powerfull.

we have an 18-60 with a 135 johnson highest gps speed has been 49mph. that was 3 people all the gear and a 5500w genny. most i have seen since the fan build is 46mph.

I have an 18x72 F&F with a 150hp Mercury. But I'm running a jet drive lower unit. My boat will run about 33mph.
I had the same motor on my 20x72 F&F with a 19 pitch prop and it would run 46 with three people and loaded !
So if I had a prop I would run in the high forty's I'm sure with this hull.

On my old 20 footer before I rigged it all out with fan and stuff the 150 would run almost 60 in slick water ! Buddy that's hauling azz in a flat bottom !
