Come on Jake, don't be mad 'cuz you have a small peniz and a slow boat....lol.

On topic, I've gotten the 'MotherShip' up to 54mph with no light rails, no gennys, half a tank of gas, and 3 guys- confirmed by dual GPS's. 1872 SeaArk, 135hp Opti, LOTS of extra aluminum on board! It's a heavy ship no doubt.

That's about all I think I'm gonna get much more from her. At WOT I kept trimming until I just started getting proposing, then raised my jack plate until I maxed out my RPM's.

THATS why you just say " HOLD MY BEER N WATCH THIS" Stand up, drop your drawers and punch the throttle for all to see. :hb:

Well, I am the definition of budget bowfishing.

Honestly, I did this only to prove that it can be done quite cheap. I paid $200 for the boat with trailer, $150 for an old 5HP motor, free trolling motor from my dad, $50 in walmart lights and $100 battery.

Killed several carp, gar and grennel with this very setup!

How fast? Probably about 2-3mph :D

hmm somthing dont sound right here... you should be getting close to 45 if not 50??? i have a 1652 with a 50 hp yammy and my prop is screwd up and it cavitates at around 25 so i hafta run it at half throttle.
