we had our old boat up to somewhere around 90 mph.............................. on the innerstate on the trailer... but in the water with 4 batteries , high deck, 4 400 magnetic ballasts and housings, and 12 gallons gas and random other crap it saw 32 mph 1860 flat two people... 60 merc 4 stroke and float pods

My custom 1848 Lowe with float pods. 1991 50hp Johnson with a whale tail. Boat will run 28-30 mph depending on trim angle with the layout shown below. Haven't ran the new motor with the lights and generator on the boat, but I'm expecting to get around 25 mph with everything loaded and the team on board.

The boat also has a great hole shot, gets on plane almost instantly.

1860 Grizzly w/ 75hp Optimax, all out on calm water about 40mph on the GPS. Usually 2-3 people, 3- batteries, and a few hundred lbs of junk. For the most part usually cruising around 25mph so we dont beat our brains out on the choppy water.

BodyCarver, I would have to wear a diaper in your boat! Over 60 in a boat... yikes! :drunk:

Champion glitter boat, 200 Vindicator -68gps fishing, 65gps bowfishing with barrel on front deck.

1648 with a 30hp 25gps loaded.

1860 Duracraft with a 90, 35 mph

2084, with a 115 merc. 4 people and gear = 31 - 32 on the way out, 28 - 30 on the way back in.

754 War Eagle with 25HP Merc 4 Stroke Bigfoot. Steel and plywood deck, inverter genny, 3 people: Going from memory I think its around 16-18 MPH. I sniffed 21 with 2 people and glassy water
I finally upgraded my outboard and deck!

War Eagle 754 LDSV w/ 50HP Evinrude. Aluminum deck, full gear, 3 guys, I can top 30 MPH (GPS). With a 55 gal barrel full of fish added I can still hit 28 MPH. I love this new (to me) outboard!!!
