Y'all have pretty much got me convinced that it's a ton cheaper just to pay someone else to ride in their boat. LOL

Oh definitely especially when you only use the boat about a dozen times during the year. Heck I spent over $7000 last year alone, on top of everything else.

3650$ or so.
Boat was given to me with the kicker. Bought the 70 rude for 800. Have about 300 or so into the deck and the troller and batts were 550...prob missin sumpum though...yep, Honda eu 3000is was 2000

Sold my boat but still have about $1k worth of lights and gennys sitting in garage waiting for the replacement boat.

Wow!

I bought an $800 18ft toon and have twice that into it already! The 101 and the HPS's have already eaten my budget, but as much as I do this, I might as well be happy! I was really lucky and got a great deal, motor, and everything is better than I could of expected. My wife has supported me, so far, and I am happy with the way it is coming together. Another grand or so and it will be a great boat for years to come, plus a few grand a year! Why do we buy boats? Its not a good investment, Its what we want, and what makes us happy!

I'm good with that!

Todd

MAN I FEEL GOOD RIGHT NOW!

$2200 for a 2072 in need of serious remodel...
$1000 later for remodel, rewireing, Genny, Light bulbs... etc.

$3200ish for a great functioning boat that fishes as well as the 15K boats... Priceless

6500 for boat and trailer
1000-1500 on motor
New steering cable 145
Hydraulic jackplate 600
