How many feet of line do you put in your AMS retrievers? Do you just add line till it "looks right" or do you have a certain amount you use?

Think they use to come with 25 yrds of the 130#...don't know about any other # line.

25yds of 200# braided dacron, 30-35yds of 350/400#FF line, 20yds of 600# Gator cord.
You could probably squeeze a little more in, but can lead to more tangling and line flow problems with the reel.

I have a bigger/different bottle on mine so I can put in about 40yds. or so. I usually load it till full, pull it all out & reel back in to remove any line twist & then cut off the last 10 feet or so.
