Just wondering how durable 400 watt hps bulbs are and how many issues you guys have with them going bad?
I am having horrible luck so far with them and all I've done is build the new deck. I've ordered bulbs from 2 different suppliers, and so far every time I get them half of them already don't work and they have to send me new ones and sometimes they don't work too. Even the ones that work one has stopped working for me in the housing already just testing!
Can't imagine once I start driving down the road with them
Oh and they are in showme custom housings and digital ballasts.

The bulbs are very durable. Check over the wiring and if you figure out its a bad ballast give Show me a call if the ballasts are from him. Im sure he can help you out.

I've had two digital ballasts chit out on me! I'm going back to mag. Ballast setup. They run flawlessly
You're the only person I've ever heard complain about digitals. EVER. Size, brand? What's going on?

I know!! The i bought ones called Ipower off ebay and worked flawlessly last year 2 400hps. And this year i ordered 2 250 hps and one dident work out of the box just keept blowing braker and went to my 400s and one might have froze over winter?because they both worked when I stored it and now only the Lil fan on it runs but no fire. I pluged bulb into other ballast and workes. Theres no trubble shooting with digis they work or they dont. Maby should have gotten lumatecks!:headbang:

I started having issues with my digital ballast and come to find out the regulator in my honda genny went bad..it was putting out 155V instead of 120v...never once have had an issue with a bulb..Iv had them come out of the socket and bounce around in the light housing for miles..
