He joined a very exclusive bowfishing club! There are only five folks in the 8ft BOWFISHING club that I know of. Me, Robin, John Paul, Marty Mcclellen, and Johnathan . There are a few more close that round up but as far as I know that's all over 8ft.

There are 4 more with a rod and reel.

 

Btw...I was on Louisiana sportsman website today and saw pictures of a 8 footer some guy shot recently in the LA marsh near cocodrie.. . I know you've shot the marsh q fair amount and gar have been a big part of your life so i thought I'd pass it. Along .

I remember a big fish but I don't know how I missed it being over 8ft? By the way I was only counting the guy that origionally stuck the fish. All the ones I named had followups by others. Would love to see a pic of your fish again.

Thanks guys I'm just kidding about helping pay for it he told me he would let me make payments for the rest of my life lol I am still shocked that I shot her but I would have never been able to do it with my team we all played a big part in getting her in the boat I was just the lucky one who shot her first I would like to give a big thanks to keyth Shaun and Doug I really have made some great friends and just to let all of Y'all know we are going to win next year we will put out the hoop nets a few weeks earlier next year thanks again oh yeah thanks Jeff and Hoopty and Brady I got my GPS back and found all y'all's holes lol
