I think I wore my bow fishing partners out.
This time of year nobody wants to go.
Even my 11 year old grandson put his bow down one night gave up.
In the spring everybody wants to go.
I fish around southern Illinois and make a few trips to Kentucky if anybody wants to go.

I aint been able to find hardly anyone to hit the water for fun shooting for over a month now. just dont understand it, most i know are already putting down the bows and gearing up for deer, dove, ducks and geese

Man around here the fishing was better during the heat. I've been out a couple of times since it's cooled off and the fishing has sucked.

In my opinion, the season may not be winding down but deer season is fast approaching. There still is a couple of weeks left but the time is getting close to switch gears and drop the fish point for the rage and do work. You just can't do everything, trust me I have tried.

anybody wanting to go out on barkley,ky lake, barkley dam areas just give me a shout if you want another guy. i have my one local shooting buddy that still likes to go out but he has a family thats getting into the deer woods for the first time this year so im definitley running out of fun shoot buddies lol

...sucks during the day trying to load at a crowded ramp,but at night its nice...Saturday night had a bunch of drunks on the ramp at midnight....was interesting,but when I took my pistol out of the dry box,when I went to get my truck,it got real quiet

Ive done it but it aint as much fun.
Its good to have a back up shot on those big grassy's

Anybody want to fish kentucky lake or southern illinois give me a PM.
My boat is a 1660 sea-arc with a 30hp outboard and a 24hp fan so i can only take one or two shooters depending on size.
It should start picking up soon.

I only bass fish on Crab and these last two years I've switched to Asians and put away my bass gear plus put a deck in my boat and a tower for Big Heads. Lately I've been fishing the Rosiclare area with a little success. My fishing partners are talking about switching to deer hunting pretty soon so I'll be looking for new people to bow fish with - maybe we could work something out?

I have a Boston Whaler, 17 x 6, 88hp Johnson and 15 hp Johnson so if you like we could always use my boat too.

I gave up using the boat along time ago and got the 4wheeler out to hit the rivers that have turned into creeks. Shooting fish in a barrel now

all my shooting buds all wimp out before me. even when shooting one night they all get tired around 3 ish. i like to fish till dawn and then some. i just cant stop once i start flinging arrows
