Just going through my gear the other night and I realized I have 6-8 reels that have various things wrong with em. Pickup pins. Striped gears. Broken handles. The list goes on and on...you guys know what I'm taking about.
I know everyone has their favorites-Muzzy, Shakespeare, Zebco, etc etc, but they ALL have issues eventually. I just wish somebody would come out with a TRUE heavy duty bowfishing reel! Cast or machined body, tool grade gears, tool grade or titanium pickup pins, thick reel handle, high gear ratio, NO plastic on ANY vital part.
What would that be worth to us? What would YOU pay for a truly HEAVY DUTY reel?
