Muzzy bowfishing extream seat 150 muzzy tourny line shoot threw rod and a bob Esper arrow resy

 

I've got a Muzzy spinner and muzzy reel seat. Love the spinner, Not too thrilled with the reel seat. I've heard F&D reel seats are the way to go so that will be what I go with next.

X100 unless you can get ahold of a shoot-thru rod. Fullbore is coming out with the best linepullers ive seen in a while. dont know if they are availible yet.

 

What is the benefit of the straight shooter rod or the shoot thru rod?

 

Much less stress on reel, more leverage when fighting a fish, better arrow flight, can be used as a line puller, keeps weeds out of your reel, and imo just overall works a bunch better. I dislike using a spinner without a rod

I use a straight shooter and have never had a single issue, but have not yet been able to try a shoot thru. Tjescott does a great job on his shoot thru rods and they do look very nice, the benefit to his is simplicity, there is no rod tip or eyelet to break. Alot of people on here have had great luck with them!

Muzzy reel bfe seat straight shooter rod. I won't use a spinner with out a rod.

Well one is a "shoot thru" and one is a rod.. Lol the straight shooter is solid Stainless Steel rod with a heavy duty ceramic fishing rod tip on it. the shoot thru is polished Stainless Steel tube which the line goes through eliminating the use of a rod tip that could potentially break

I take it the one on the right is the one with the line puller? I didn't see that one on rgdboats.net. us that just a prototype or ill that be for sale soon?

Whatever you do get an F&D seat! they are absolutely the best! And Fred from F&D is a great guy to deal with!

I love my TJE shoot thru rod and rpm vise reel seat. I am also fairly impressed with the muzzy but will probably try a ti20 and see what I think simply for cost reasons. One big reason I like the spinner set up is you can tie to the back and knock about $5 dollars a piece off the price of your arrows.

wanna set up another bow .....also do you think the ti20 would be lighter...seems like the muzzy is alittle heavy...prob get use to it?? Im sure...(( been on the bottle for a long time,))),,just want to try somthing new on an extra bow.. looking for sugestions...
