I think I posted around Nov. about fishing for the carp if you can no longer use a bow. I am out to kill as many carp anyway I can. I love shooting them with arrows, but fishing for them works real well in the Northwest if there is open water.
This has been a real mild winter so far and I have had a real good kill record. They love night crawlers, and I have even had some nights warm enough for the worms to be crawling around in the grass. 145 since middle of Oct. I'll go out the next couple of days and have well over 70 this month in less than 10 days fishing.
Kill them carp and save a bass, crappie, perch and sunfish.

R&R doesnt help out with the withdraws in the winter so i just kill other things until spring plus its way to cold for that crap i would rather be curled up with my 12 gauge in the pit or in the boat
