This happened to me last night so if somebody finds a decent common with a white splash arrow, blue nock, and sure shot on Lake Fork it's mine haha!

Brother and I were shooting off a dock last summer. He shoots a carp and starts reeling it in when the line comes untied. He's pissed cuz its the first time out with a brand new Yellow Jacket arrow and Grapple point. Fish went under the dock and we figured we'd never see it again cuz the water was pretty deep 7-8'. A few minutes later is see a white spot moving reeeaaally slowly on the bottom. Figured it has to be the injured carp belly up on the bottom. I took a shot at it and I was right, that thing was laying on its back on the bottom. Pulled it up and gave the arrow to my bro haha.

We have a video on YouTube of a grass carp I shot I hit him he cut my line off on something. I got rigged back up chased him down and got another arrow in him
We shot a 60# class southern ray the other weekend, I shot it and spooled my extended bottle with 400# fast flight and almost jerked bow from my hands and pulled off. My son running the big motor cut a circle in the direction it went and noticed a big foot round spot of blood in the water then about 10 yds further another. As it was swimming it was pumping out a blood trail and managed to track it down after about 200 yds and get another couple arrows in it and get it in the boat...was pretty cool to blood trail a fish and a first for us.

Buddy and I were fishin a flooded feild when I shot a buff and the line broke, last arrow I had with a good nock, so my buddy on the troller and me with my arm shoulder deep trying to catch the arrow and the buff!! lol good times, finally caught it 20 minutes later, I think it was on the verge of dying cause he pretty much gave up lol :nk:

Lost a arrow but hit the fish and got it back but fish was real. Shallow

We were shooting around an offshore airforce tower last year about 15 miles out and I stuck about a 6ft barracuda. Cuda went straight down and snapped my line when he hit the end. Fished around for another hour or so and decided to head in. About a mile north of the tower I look up and lo and behold I see an arrow sticking up out of the water and its zipping through. Managed to catch up close enough to grab the end of the line and boated the fish.

Several trips in a row of shooting rolling gar now we have seen the same gar rolling with an arrow in her. Can't get close enough.
There is a gator gar on the trinity, near the lac n dam that has a white arrow with a hot pink noc sticking out of her back. I have seen her several times. Most of the time, just the noc comes up like a periscope.LOL

Hahaha GG

Stopped by Ky Dam today, saw a young kid get his Diamond yanked out of his hands. Yep, right in the river. His big brother walked by me and said "Dad's gonna be pissed!" About 10 min later, a guy down the bank shot a silver, pulled it in and it already had an arrow in it. It was the same fish. It took them a few min., but the kid got his bow back. That is one lucky kid, getting his bow back from this.

We have lost arrows in fish and later shot them and got our own back, but never any body elses.I did shoot a carp one time with a swim bait in her lip!

This has happened twice now.............my cousin/tourney partner shoots the alluminum Muzzy Penetrator type arrows(as do a lot of guys out here)Last he drilled a big sow in the head ,and she snapped the arrow off.He was pizzed...I was amused.About an hour goes by,and running up the bank in front of us I see what appears to be a blood trail in the water.........we follow it for some time and it goes into a weed patch,I kill the troller we both draw and drift in.Out the front of the weeds coming right at us like a Kamikaze,is her!!I shoot.....miss...he shoots and drills her.Got the point back, but the arrow was gone.

This year, same lake same thing only no blood trail, smaller fish.I have to admit I pulled off an incredble shot, and it was as close to Silver shooting as we will get out here.....he drills the fish in the head,it jumps straight up out of the water like a Tarpon ,and I hear a loud CRACK!!!I was already drawn on another fish, but he yelled an expletive and I swung over and drilled that fish just as it hit the water!Again...got the point back, arrow was trashed

I have a pic of last years, but I cant find it................
That's awsome!

That'd be my arrow.

i've lost 4 arrows in gar within about 300 yards on the mississippi up here... My buddy had a glowmax shaft on one night and shot through a little gar and it snapped his line. We just shut the lights off and there was his arrow glowing to beat hell on the bottom! got er back, thank god the miss wasn't living up to her name and dirty as chit that day!
