All I have to say is that my osprey has stuck a 3' a 4' two 5' and a 7' gator gar and too many 3 to 5 foot needles to count all from 2 to 4' deep and out as far as 45 foot on the smaller ones... Idk if its just your bow but I have yet to have a problem with penetration... and shes set at 30 pounds even and 65% let off
You want a f**k'n cookie?? Lol.. As I've said before.. If it won't shoot 55#'s then it doesn't need to be marked and sold as a 55# bow!! I can kill a deer with a .22 also, but I don't hunt with one!! I PREFER more #'s and here's the thing.. I shot it through a chronograph at 45#'s with 80% let off and averaged 115fps with a variance of arrows and tip combos!! 115fps is medie-oker at best for a bow that is at the top end of the bowfishing bow price range and is supposedly the chit.. Now it doesn't even perform within the parameters Oneida says it will do!! I like the bow but I don't give a chit if it's an Oneida or not.. It's crazy smooth and it's cool looking but come on.. The supposed best of the best should be doing better than this!!

Why?The only thing it is good for is to f#*+ up a persons shooting.Let off is for deer hunting, not fishing.
I'll try the 12's tomorrow night.. Will I need to re-tune my bow afterward?

Switch your digital scales from KG's to LBS.That should help. Also, try shooting thru a chronograph, not a little league radar gun! :p
Funny guy!! Lol.. Get your azz to compiling a bowfishing IBO standard!!

Maybe a little bit. You'll definitely need to re-tune if you ever unleash the beast by adding 10's.
You use finger slicks or anything of the sort? I really see a lot of string roll on this osprey with the finger slicks more so than I did on my menace with no gloves.. I guess I was just use to it on the menace... But I see a noticeable difference on this bow!

It's all about arrow speed--it takes a higher peak weight to make a high let-off bow shoot a fishing arrow as fast as a lower poundage no let-off bow. It's a no brainer.

I think he already has all the info.He wont post it tho because he knows it will turn into an Oneida bashing free for all. The mods will make a big difference.Mine shoots plenty hard enough for anything I want to shoot with it and it's a 25/45.
