The Legend hull is built by weldbuilt for cowtown usa, Trout and sons in St James Mo. build a lot of these with Alweld hulls.
I run a 18/56 Alweld with a 150 merc outboard jet.
What about outboard jets on the flat bottom boats like the 1860 legend ss with like a 225 on da back :)

Bare boat ran about 50 but after adding floor, livewell, rod box, deck genny and all the extras I'm down to about 35.
You lose speed running a jet but it's nice to be able to run thru the shoals in a couple inches of water.
How fast can you run?

Bare boat had a regular prop or a jet foot @50mph?. I want to go fast really fast...what do you think your exact boat would run with a 225 on it..fully loaded down.

old thread, bringing it back. filling my dreams recently. don't think there is a better way to move a heavy load that's more reliable, especially when you don't know what's below the waters surface. looks like I've got a lot of links to search through to see who builds a 84" wide floor.
