An electric powered generator. Plug it in to the wall then flip a transfer switch after it builds up enough power, then it runs off its own power. That would be a gold mine.

 

They already make those. It's called a battery

 

I'm gonna echo the electric generator. I want indestructable trailer lights. My lights seem like they break if I look at them the wrong way. I'd like to see camo face paint that comes off super easy.

I have them.
We make led lights of all kinds where I work as an electrical tech. I built these myself. completely encapsulated . No cheap lenses or bulbs. Completely waterproof and led powered for a lifetime of light output. there are 24 leds on ea. light. 8(ever 3rd one light with the running lights. And theo other 16 light when you hit the brake or blinker.

Slotted spinner ! That one is easy, made one 5 years ago ! Told a guy how 3 years ago but nothing has came of it . All you need is to know someone that can machine a reel cap ! Know anyone like that ?

Really dont need a slotted spinner. If you can make a reel that will hold 100+ yards of fast flight then you will have enough line to play the fish. Just have to stretch the spool and and the rod going through the spool I think. Build one of those and I will buy one!

Slotted spinner would be easy to make, just one problem with the design that I hvent thought of a solution for. It will come in time!

 

Electric kicker bracket with a transport mode and easily mounted switch for steering stick apps!

 

Think I have the slotted spinner figured out have to try out something. One thing not sure of but think I have it licked.

 

Did some tinkering and looks like it can be done but you would have to replace one small part every time the float is deployed, but I think it would be reusable and stay on the line. Have to take the prototype out and give it a try. I'm sure if this works fanman can figure it out or would be willing to make the nesasary modified parts. Won't be able to test until thursday. Any one know of a cheap place to buy spinners so I can fine tune these modifications.

 

cheap ones at walmart and rural king. like 5-10$ not made for bowfishing but would prob test ok

I wanna see some lights that are a bright as HPS and MH but only use juice like leds.....oh ya and cost like halos or at least HPS and not like LEDS

 

Why go backwards--hpf HPS & M/H lights already put out more lumens per watt consumed than the current LED's.

The genny's output would run the genny's motor and have enough output left for lights, a transfer switch runs it off house outlet then transfers it to its own output. No battery

Not possible in theory or practice. Output will never exceed input or even be equal to it. I think whoever dreamed this up skipped elementary school a few too many times.

 

The only way that would work would be with nuclear power!

How about this...

A tube that either mounts to the boat, or is pulled behind. Inside this tube is a small prop which as water flows through, it generates electricity that is fed back into the batteries on the boat. Couldn't keep a boat moving on it's own, but it may keep the charge up longer.

 

That would work to some degree.

 

No slotted spinner! I do not want to ever push a button again!!!! I want a GEARED RETRIEVER! The retriever would be perfect if it pulled in line when I turned the handle. I dont want to pull a lever or make sure the rollers are tight enough to bring in the line, I just want to turn the handle and line comes in....and have it geared as fast as a spinner. THAT would be a perfect world!
