No slotted spinner! I do not want to ever push a button again!!!! I want a GEARED RETRIEVER! The retriever would be perfect if it pulled in line when I turned the handle. I dont want to pull a lever or make sure the rollers are tight enough to bring in the line, I just want to turn the handle and line comes in....and have it geared as fast as a spinner. THAT would be a perfect world!
How about some DRAG???

now that would be fricken awesome.

Now that's an idea!

I would just like a upgrade kit to speed up my retrievers some. I love the simple design which keeps them working forever. I would just like it to reel in a touch faster. Oh and a boat trailer that lowers to inches tall from the bottom making it easier to get into really shallow water (I have a tilt trailer PITA) had to back the truck into the water over the floorboards last night and still couldnt get the :cen: boat off!!! we were still 150 yards from the actual ramp!!

Probably wouldn't be all that difficult. Use an inertia driven clutch so that the centrifugal force of turning the crank would engage the gears. Could even run a no button spinner, same clutch to engage the gears and have pickup pins that are also deployed by centrifugal force. Only problem would be figuring out the drag.

I want indestructable trailer lights. My lights seem like they break if I look at them the wrong way. .
I have them.
We make led lights of all kinds where I work as an electrical tech. I built these myself. completely encapsulated . No cheap lenses or bulbs. Completely waterproof and led powered for a lifetime of light output. there are 24 leds on ea. light. 8(ever 3rd one light with the running lights. And theo other 16 light when you hit the brake or blinker.
