I just bought a used jp short osprey. I keep seeing that the cp seems to be more sought after. What’s the difference? I’ve owned a few oneidas but I don’t know anything about them. Any issues I should know about on a short osprey? All the ones I’ve owned before have been mediums, I shoot a 27.5-28” draw though

The big difference in cp and JP ospreys are the JP ospreys have a wider riser and a bigger grip. If you have held a cp osprey you’ll know the difference. If you have t you won’t notice anything at all. The cp ospreys are more sought after because they don’t make them anymore. And they had better color options and more options for draw lengths. Here is a picture of the option differences between cp and JP

The risers on cp are slightly thinner (I think), so some people like the feel of them better than the current jp era risers.

on the plus side tho JP's did (or said he did) fix some of the common CP issues like limb pockets
