so went out to shoot some reds and flounder tonight and like the title says blew up another hascon (imagine that).

I feel like i have learned my lesson so someone please point me in the right direction of a dependable prop. i have a 23hp vaunguad but its got a tapered shaft so i need one that fits that. but SCREEEWWWW hascon good grief i am sick of hearing BOOM!!! in 10" of water than having to push pole to deeper water for 100 yds. this Sucks!

Sorry about the bad luck and glad no one got hurt. Ugh just think if it blew up it turned side ways... Arrow prop has been good for me going on my 4th season with 500 plus hours. Competition prop uses the same blades (I think).

those things should be outlawed lol. what did you pay for your arrowprop?

if it busting and hit some one in the head it would kill. knocked a huge dent in my 1/4" thick shroud

Me too. I busted a blade this summer . Replaced it trolled around did fine two days later cranked it up in the yard reved up and blow all three blades off . Got a replacement late summer letnit run in yard and wide open. Hadn't had it back on water yet. I was definitely skiddish of running it again. Just wish arrow prop wasn't as high. But I. The end its worth the price if it saves your life!

Yea, Arrow prop uses competition (ultra prop) blades on there props. Don at arrowprop has always been helpful to me and just a real nice guy with dependable products.

Seem like "I told yall so" is in order here, but I know how it is, that PRIDE get in alot of peoples way.

Glad nobody was hurt.

Ultra prop, arrowprop, IVO, Powerfin, they all PROPELLERS and will do their job unlike those fans... Maybe yall should start calling them prop boats instead of fanboats so people dont get the wrong idea on what they should be bolting to their motors.

last night i was shooting fish with the bottom of the boat dragging in 4 to 6 inches of water so a kicker is a no go here.
