This was a great project to work on. Next week, it will be getting blue hydro-turf and some killer black rims. Also has some pretty cool blue LEDs on the trailer!
Most important part of a wrap is prepping the surface. If you take the boat to the car wash to de-grease and rinse, allow it to sit for 24-36 hours to dry. You do not want water touching the adhesive of the wrap. This boat took almost 7 bottles of 70% isopropyl alcohol in which we clean the sides using lint free towels. Just when you think its clean, clean it again.
So it begins... you can see how we took the side rails off the trailer to gain access to the bottom part of the boat.
Next step.. we need some sunshine to help dry and activate the adhesive. Also, an important step some installers skip, and that is sealing the edges. Just extra added security and peace of mind.
