Just found the thread on the new site, good to hear some fish stories already. Are you guys going out on cooling lakes or spillways, or how are you finding open water to shoot already?

Well, Justin, my cable is 12 ft. I went from 12 to 10, same as you. Did you move your console to the rear?

So Doug, or anybody else looking for a like new 12 ft teleflex steering cable let me know. The cheapest I could find a new one for on eBay was $90. I would sell mine for $40.

We did pretty good last night for only spending about 2 hours on the water. Kinzye came so close several times but no connection yet. I did however manage to boat 12 fish for close to 100 lbs. Biggest of the night being 20# common. Would post pics if I could figure out how.

BTW Kinzye might have missed all the fish last night but she did knock the feathers out of her first goose on the wing this morning.

Yeah i moved the console back 30'' and the rear deck 30''.Its pretty amazing how much more room 30'' is in a 16' boat.

Here are a couple pics for you. Kinzye with the fish from Friday night, fished for about 2 hours. The limit of geese we shot in 3 hours and that included setting up the decoys and picking up the spread. The other is a goose I shot with a neck band and a leg band, mighty fine trophy right there.:hb

Hey guys, I'm new and live about a 100yds off the kansas line, just south of loiusburg in Drexel, is there anyone around this area that might want to meet up around La cynge and help me. I am just starting this year and am working on getting my bow set up, but other than that i'm still pretty dumb when it comes to bowfishing.
