you can check your local electrical supply, they have them. I am a electrician, been kickin around puttin em on my boat. They have some 10 watt led floods at dealers for about 100 buck. Don't know the lumens, was gonna buy a couple and try them, if they don't work they can go on my house.

I have toured their showroom. their lights are impressive. I also found some on lightingorient.com. 1000 lumen 30 watt 12volt. 119.00 bucks. thinking of trying some of those? What would a 1000 lumens be comparable to?

A large candle??? LOL Figuring that a 18 watt compact fluorescent bulb puts out about 1200 lumens I'm not thinking you are going to be very impressed.

They would be used for special situations. Very clean water, lots of houses trying to minimize my presence on the water. Just trying to find the best value for the money ie lumens/$.
