The way I did it was I took 1x1/4 flat stock aluminum. I used a bench vise to form my "U" for the bracket. I then drilled threw the center of each side of the light housing. I used 1/4 bolts and in the inside of the light housing I used fender washers just to help support the sides a little better... Most of mine held up good for two years until I replaced them with LEDS..

I like them a lot I went with 50watt true warm from seelite. My deck is 6ftx7ft when I had halos I had 14 of them 1/2 500watt and 1/2 300watt I switched over last winter and went with 12 of the leds. In all honesty I don't notice any less light or any more light than I did with the halos. With the seelites the housing are built strong and I have there normal glass haven't had anything break or any issues. After a season on the boat they still look new.... I think its like this in everything you get what you pay for....

The reason I switched was mainly because I have two generators Honda 7500 and a Honda 2000. I wanted to cut down on the weight of the 7500 and save some room. Yeah I could of went HPS with my Honda 2000 I just decided to go LED route no real reason....
