ok so i decided to try lighted nocks for no other reason then that they look cool lol, my problem is the adapter seems like its too small for the nock, ive sanded it out so it would get a better connection and tried to make more room for the nock but its still a pain in the a** to get in, i forced it in there and now i cant get it to light unless i push it up against a wall or something, im using lumenocks, do i need to use firenocks or tracer nocks? sand it more? anybody else have this problem?

you said that it only lights when pushed against a wall i think might not be right but i think some brands light by the force of being shot so try shooting it and see if it lights again i cant remember exactly but i want to say i read it or heard it in a youtube video so i might not be right

well ive shot em out of my hunting arrows, what you do is you back the nock out of the shaft slightly and when shot it pushes the nock up against the shaft causing it to make a connection and light up, and just slightly back it out after each shot, ive shot it , hit fish with it the whole 9, and it just wont light so i have to push the arrow up against the wall and push hard for it to light, then spend 5-8 mins trying to back it out again to turn it off

well im not sure what you are using to sand the inside of the adapter but if you have a dremel handy you could try using it to sand the inside a lil bit more evenly other than that im not really sure sorry if i didnt help any just my .02

you can put some wd-40 in there one side effect of sandin might have been now that the finish is off on the inside it might yes be a bigger diameter but without the finish it might grab the nock a little bit so that it doesnt move as smoothly

I sanded the piss outa mine til it finally fit in the nock adapter better. Only problem i have with it now is the fact that it doesn't work with my fish hook, the adapter hits it and kicks the arrow all over the place... it was awesome the couple of times i hit fish with it but i think i'm just going to give it to my dad now

thanks for the input yall, i agree with P&R, it was cool with the one carp i killed with it, love the shake lol, but i shoot a fish hook too and really these things just seem like waaayyy to much hassle and $$$ for just a little light, so im going back to regular nocks.

Yep, everytime someone shot lighted knocks off my boat, they were spending more time messing around with them trying to get them to work right then they were spending shooting fish. Lighted knocks not allowed in my boat anymore!

If that's the case I'd let em shoot off my boat anytime. More fish for me to shoot at while they're dinkin around with their nock.
