Hello, I live in Northern California in a town called Chico. I am looking for some bow fishers that live around the same area that maybe would like to go kill some carp. I have a couple friends that do go shooting with me but, they aren't as passionate as I am. I only know so many spots around and near chico. So id like to make some friends that know some spots if they are willing to show me some. Just send me a message if you are interested thank you.

dont think there is anybody on here from up there, but I do know there are some shooters around there.Cliff White is from up that way,Paradise Bowmen.Cliff puts on the Clear Lake shoot and knows everybody!!

alright i might have to make a trip see i live in chico but im leaving to move to Kansas city in the middle of july cause i got a baseball scholarship to play for a school their so im trying to get some good shooting in b4 i leave cause i know absolutely no one out there let alone places to shoot.

where in the valley are you

20$ entrance fee, 2 man teams, pretty sure you don't need a boat because the whole tourney will be shot in rice field drainage ditches :tu: google yuba sutter carp shoot. Thats how I've shot ALL my fish (400+) since last year :tu: 100$ for biggest fish 5/lb for most # plus 2 other plaque type awards

lol idk man, me either. Ima bring a bigass tub and my truck lol call em n ask, I was posted up on a bridge shootin at carp when some guy pulled up and asked me if i bowfish alot n when i said almost every day he told me about the tourney. Not only do you have to figure out what your gonna lug a bunch of stankin dead fish around in all day but ya also gotta figure out how n where ya gonna get rid of em, Says somewhere that contestants are responsible for there own fish disposal too.

yeah i figure though you can just tell them that you are going to take them home and when you leave u can probably just throw the fish in a ditch or something but yeah ill have to figure out what to bring to lug the fish around

idk bout all that, you get caught doin that n I'd guess it'd be one HELL of a fine. Not to mention it makes us ALL look bad when people come across a bunch of dead fish with arrow holes in them.
