For those of you who have LEDs, my partner picked up some 3M yellow light bulb tape at oreillys yesterday before our trip last night. It's like scotch tape with a yellow tint. One roll is just enough to cover 5 of the 27w lights. We have ten lights so we covered the lights on the right side of the boat last night for a trial run.
Like I said it was the first trip testing it and I'm not sure I have a good conclusion for you but it makes the LED light color very similar to halos or HPS with little to no light loss. It was hard for me to tell if it made much difference as we were in very murky water but it did knock the little bit of glare down.
I am uploading the video to my pc now and will have it posted in my "MY LED review" thread by tonight. Just thought I would share our find in case anyone was interested.
