ok im using a Husqvarna Generator 420GN 2000 watt 4 HP
and i purchased 7-150 hps econo lights.

is that going to run the lights effectively and is there anything else i may need to do to this setup? any photos or help would be greatly appreciated!!!! thanks!

btw anyone up between st.louis and chicago is welcome to tag along or bring your rig and do some shooting come may/june!

If you bought the $40 lights no. If you bought the hpf lights yes.

what is wrong with the 40 hps? im guessing i need to get converters. or just drop the money and get the HPF's huH?
Nothing is wrong with the $40 HPS as long as you have a genny to back em'. You will need the HPF lights (which include caps) so you genny would work. If you are going to be adding converters even if you switch to the HPF lights your 2000w genny will not be able to keep up. You will be very unhappy....

so what direction should i go now... i have that 2000w/3000w surge genny and 7-150 hps (40.00) on the way... how can i salvage a setup? i thought the genny i got would be strong enough to run it....
