I know, this might cause a stroke or two, but I'm kicking around the idea of selling my boat-hull only. :jd:
I'm just WAY up in the air on what to ask for the hull? (BARE hull-the only thing I'd send with it is the gas tank and all the fittings/hoses for that)
NADA puts the bare hull, a 2000 model year MV1872AW SeaArk at $1800, but I've obviously got a 'little' more into her than that.
I'm sure the first question anyone is gonna ask, is 'why?' Well, no major issues with her at all, I just wanna make a few changes that would require MAJOR deconstruction, and I don't really wanna rip her apart to do that. One thing is have a removable floor-screw down, and I'm paranoid about reinforcing the ribs (yes, even the factory ribs). Plus I want to run additional plates or T bars on the inside of the hull to guard against denting, and stiffen up the hull. Plus I want a smaller gas tank-it's 27gal now, and with the weight of the outboard I hate running with a full tank. Plus, I've never needed much more that half that in any given day.
I have been chasing around a small leak (5" long hairline crack) in the keel the last few weeks, but I think thats finally fixed. It's been TIG'd along a 10" section, holes drilled at each end of the crack, and the crack itself was die-ground out. Took her out over the last few days and it's holding nicely. BUT we are welding on another 16ft long piece of angle over the existing keel just to make sure! Overkill, but at least it won't leak from the keel ever again! Thats the only issue the boats had recently, and it should be resolved. Several guys have seen and fished from her on here, and can vouch for it's durability.
The entire build has been pretty well documented-no surprises here:

This boat fishes like an indescribable wet dream, and I'm not 100% sure I'm going to sell her, but if I decide to, where would a fair price begin?
