Motor is about 3 months old and I have had to take the prop off once since I had it to clean out some line. Noticed I was spooking a lot of fish yes and took the prop off and the metal washer around the shaft was loose. Pushed it back in and now it has a loud squeak when turning. Any ideas on what causing this?

I have a Maxxum that started squeaking. Took it apart and it had water in it. That line you had wrapped in it might have cut your seal.
