Looks really clean, I was thinking about doing the same thing to mine. I have the same real seat that doesn't match my black and flo-green bow as well. I want to paint that as well.

I like how nice and clean that looks. I'm thinking about getting g rid of my lowderciated muzzy because it doesn't have the clean look I like. But this word work. Did you just tape and spray paint?

Okay I took mine apart but was afraid to separate the aluminum pieces you painted.

For the rear do you bend each little tab and then slip it off?
For the front, I give! 1 rivet? Everything seems flimsy and very breakable.

Noobshooter your orange muzzy gave me the idea.
Rcdinaz yes bend the tabs back pulls right off. For the cap I didn't disassemble. Just taped and cut with an exacto knife. My first one didnt turn out so well. Was holding it wet then dropped in the grass then had a bad run. Got so mad I took apart a second one. Turned out way better. Not sure how well the spray paint will hold up.

Cool thanks! Yours looks great. I thought you found a way to take it all the way apart it looks so clean.

Did you have to sand the aluminum or just clean and spray?

I was thinking maybe shoot it with etching primer then paint so it would stick, not sure if that is a solution or more work. I am going to give it a shot in the next couple of weeks. Black, maybe a green stripe.

I sanded it. I probably should have primed but didn't have any handy. Just found the spray paint in the shed.

Now just need to drimmel out those gold colored diamonds for spraying line w lube and you're good to go.

Did it with the other 2 I've been using. This carp cable seems to be running fine without silicone. My fast flight liked silicone every now and then.
