Line sticks and does not come off the reel correctly. Took some line off and re spooled. It looks like the pick up pin is a little above the rim and the line might be catching on it. Can I lower it?

make sure you have as much line as it will hold on it, keep spooling it on until it starts getting hard to turn and pull out a foot or two and tie your arrow on. also try some silicone spray inside the reel on the line and it will help it come out better

also make sure the pin carrier is not broke

On an XD Pro, I had the pin partially back out of it's hole and it did what you're describing. Pressed it back in and it worked fine.
