I think you have a winner there Dennis! You guys found all the shad and we found the carp. Wish we could have made it to the other end to try our luck at killing some too. You guys find any carp after we left?

 

HOLY CRAP! that thing is HUGE. I never seen a shad that big. In Oklahoma they are little bait fish. That is just amazing. You stuck that sucker dead on. Good shooting.

 

i shot both of these on keystone lake in oklahoma, but these were the biggest any of the guys had seen in oklahoma as well,

Nice one!! there is some spots there that have tons of big chad 3lb'er is a nice one. you must be staying to much time on the southend. and thay love them HPS's with a kicker!! try the bushes by the sand beach ton of carp:tu:

Yep, the shad were as big if not bigger than the carp we were shooting at. Did find some carp on the north end thanks to Jeff and Amanda, but we was too tired to keep going at it. Maybe it is those lights that bring the shad out, they do go crazy for sure. Fast critters.

Man I never seen any shad that big in my life in Ok and I have been bass fishing 30 years. Normally size of a dollar bill is huge. I haven't ever bowfished keystone I grew up near there but only bass fished it. I have only bowfished Grand and Hudson so far as this is my first year bowfishing.
