Shot my biggest ray to date Monday morning. Saw him from the 28th floor of the condo we were staying at in Gulf Shores, AL and ran to the elevator and into the water. After a short waist deep stalk I spotted him and almost had a heart attack. But I put the arrow where it needed to go and after a back breaking, hand cutting, drag burning fight I finally landed him!

Thats flippin awesome! Huge ray and great story. You should put a shoot thru rod on that bow it would help alot with leverage on big fish or rays!

Haha I always carry my bowfishing bow with me no matter where I'm going. My girlfriend and I actually ended up killing quite a few rays both during the day and at night. After dark I was wading around with my sure fire light shooting them. It was a blast, an since her sister and bro in law paid for the condo it was good cheap fun!
