A while back there was a blown up cuda for sale on here.... I know I was just as shocked as you all:shocked:. And in a drunken stuper I beat out my buddy Maglite to buy it! ... Didn't realize untill I got the PM from the guy the next day that I had made an offer on it lol.... but being the stand up guy I am, I bought it. It showed up at my house looking like the typical blown up cuda, pieces and parts all strewn about. I half expected to find what was left of an eyeball in there ... It looked bad! And the stink...:jd: (thanks Tayler) my wife about killed me when i was taking it the rest of the way appart... in the kitchen! :spank: .. I sent the riser out to get powder coated and started sanding on the limbs... and ordering the notorious half rounds that break so much! Waxed the crap out of the string ... cleaned... and cleaned... and cleaned the cams up. Never seen so much carp goo! lol. Painted the limbs and cams flat black (murdered out) and got the riser back in a sweet translucent blue... with some flake in it... very nice and very sparkly! Got it 99% assembled today and once i get a cable slide she will be finished! Here are the pics from start to finish!

Looks good man!
Thanks Jeff... if i had your talent i coulda painted some cool design on the limbs! But with my talents i was lucky to get them all flat black lol!

All of Taylor's bows have the carp-goo build-up and essence. That boy kills a chit-ton of fish :tu:

He is probably on P.ETA's top ten most wanted hit list, a WCD (Weapon of Carp Destruction) LOL ! :D

lol I almost forgot to give credit to the powder coat crew... Thanks to Rightwing and Bob_Esper for the sweet job on the riser!! It looks awesome in the sun! I cant wait to see it under the lights!

and ordering the notorious half rounds that break so much!
I can't say that we've ever had a limb rocker break. They do however end up in the water most times if a bow comes unstrung.
I have a bow that looks just like that--

Hmm both of these had the little plastic pins sheared off in the limb, i had to drill them out!

There were some early rockers that had a mold line on both sides and would stick in the riser--more than likely that's what caused the bow to come apart. I always check the rockers to make sure they move freely when I put a Cuda/Discovery together.

LOL i was gonna say now it looks like a discovery with custom grips.

I like it tho. U gonna put any type of clear coat over that black?
It says i wont need it. its supposed to be industrial and one coat... so i put 3 coats on it... seems pretty tough so far just from me putting it together

Sweet looking bow, if I were you (if you haven't already) I'd also hit them limbs with some valspar clear flat. It is tough as nails and you'll keep that flat color perfect. I actually used it over gloss black to make it flat and it came out looking like I had just painted with flat paint.
