sure have been a lot of complaints against *******.

I tell you my side of the story since we're on it.....I order powermax converters from ferret all the time....he might be a little silly sometimes...but I trust him enough to put money straight in his account and i know my crap is gonna be at my door in a couple days...i smoked a converter...txted him....even he was in norway or wherever he was....he said ok test it make sure it doesnt work and ill send you another...send the old one back to powermax....NO QUESTIONS asked....ive ordered many converters for all my friends in dallas this way and will continue to do that. I have not ordered a boat yet due to fact I am a cheap ass .....and it has to be a smokin deal for my half jewish self to let go of money. not saying they havent offered me good deals but I am just that...a cheap ass and...i wouldnt know exactly what kinda boat id want them to build so im going to wait til i want an airboat or a big fishing boat then make my decision. Not too many people let you change your mind on the type of boat you want 5 different times then when u get mad your boat isnt built in time....offer your money back...thats not how business works ...chief.....if it was my business....itd be a contract.....it wouldnt be any easy going crap like shawn does and let people walk on me....this is the boat u want...u put down a deposit....if u change your mind i keep your deposit.....I think if hes nice enough to give you your money you should consider that as a fact in itself....but you do what you want....just seems most of the people from a certain area are extremely "hard to please" and have no problem bashing someones lively hood.

its very simple, you cant please everyone all the time, with custom boat builds, or cars, mudtrucks, anything custom there is no book on how to do it , hence "custom". humans make mistakes, but when someone admits to a mistake and makes it right it shows character. there will always be problems that arise with any kind of buisness, espically in the custom fabrication buisness. from what i have seen and read about, ******* may not have always been up to some customers "par", but they have always made right. the few problems they have had are no match for the many satisfied customers they have had. might need to work on customer service as far as time constraints and returning phone calls, but all in all i dont see this as a company i wouldnt order a boat from. would you stop going to walmart cause you heard someone had a difficult time there? would you stop watching the outdoor channel cause you didnt like one show they put on?
to any bashers out there, if you havent dealt with ******* then you really shouldnt express "hate" because you have second hand stories. if you have ever owned a small buisness then you know what it feels like to be under that kind of stress. everyone has a right to thier own opinion, and i firmily belive in that, but how can you justify your opinion with second hand hersay? dont jump on the bandwagon because you like bashing, save your hate for the antis.

I dont understand why a company doesnt front the cost of a build and charge when its complete?

i dont understand why he doesnt charge a depost in case a buyer changes his mind...and hes not out the cost of materials for the boat build.

what is second hand here i paid for a boat.... and its been a year and half when he told me 3 weeks and i didnt make a change on my boat for awhile so he had plenty of time to build me the boat before i changed anything i guess thats my fault?

so get your money and get your boat built somewhere else...that goes for any service...anywhere....why you people have to post about your unpleasant experiences about ******* airboats is beyond my knowledge...its really getting old because thats all these threads ever do is bash someones business....take your business elsewhere or go to favorite boat builder F&F in arkie land ...dude no one cares when you handle your business in this manner. Im sure shawn will give you your money just call him instead of telling everyone on here.but its ok everyone knows youre bashing...lol...you get upset when people dont take your side....1 year and half is a long time...grant u that...itd be like 3 months before i got my money back...i wouldnt pay up til i had a verification of a completion date.

no and shawn knows that i wasnt gonna put all that in my first post but if you wanna bring it out in the open i was not happy with it. shawn told me to sell it and he would build me another one that he assured me i would be happy with he even said his self that he wasnt satisfied with my boat

He's not saying nothing about you buying second hand, but that the bash crew is hatin on a company that they haven't dealt with directly like you have. All the haters are going on is second hand stories. I believe his post was directed at the basher bandwagon not you. You've done better in your situation than most people would.
