it will be my primary hunting rifle, I also intend on doing some medium long range shooting if I can find some places to do so locally.
Dude, you're in Lubbock. Front door to your mailbox should be medium long range. They tell me everything is bigger in Texas...
Armadillos are great target practice. Just enough movement to keep you on your toes. 625yds standing with shooting sticks is my personal best. We don't have prairie dogs here, gotta use what we have!

I no longer live in Lubbock, but I certainly plan on taking this thing out to a dog town and making some "explosions" lol. And yea 7mag is more than enough for what I wanna do, hell my 308 tore chit up and so does my dads 7mag, I couldn't imagine shooting our little bitty white tail with 300WM lol

Haha I know what your talking about garret when you say small deer. I've never had a runner with my 243 shooting hand loads under 300 but I would love something in the 6.5/284 cartridge

It was finished yesterday, couldn't ever get the pic to load to photobucket, but here she is. Probably be a few weeks before I can pick her up due to my schedule though

It's got a break on it now, ordered my suppressor yesterday so hopefully the e form comes back in 3-4 months.

It will still be a few weeks before I get the gun from him, leupold sent the scope without target turrets so he's getting that taken care of!

Looks like a shooter. I'm about to send off for a suppressor myself. Looking at the YHM phantom titanium. I already have 28" barrel and I'm afraid if I went all SS that the damn thing would tip over forward on the bipod.
