Some know that I was in the process of having a custom rifle built. I ordered my stock on Oct. 26th 2010 from there it went to a gunsmith in New Braunfels Tx and finally to another gunsmith for the final sanding and finishing in Denver Colorado. I finally recieved my new baby November 2nd 2011.
The specs: .270 caliber, Action is a Remington 700 CDL, Timney trigger tuned to a crisp 3 lbs of pull, pillar bedded action, free floated barrel, completely accurized and barrel broke in, .496 3 shot grouping at 100yrds after brake in. Stock is AAA grade quilted maple with ebony tip and cap with 1/2 inch Pacymer pad. I went with a Nikon Monarch 4-16x42 scope with BDC reticle an SF knob, Talley scope rings. Also has an 16" adjustable Bi-Pod.
She cost me quite a bit but she is worth every last penny I put into her.
