Got a 2010 Honda 9.9 4 stroke, currently has a 4 blade prop on it. Dunno if thats going to work on my setup?

What prop size would you kicker guys recommend. This motor is going on my 1760 triton. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks

a four blade is for increased grip and turning. they are great for a short hole shot. if you want to see all the prop options for your motor go to IBoats.com you won't find a wider selection or a better price on props. I ought to know I bought 3 last year, lol.

if you want a smooth running prop I'd try the smallest pitch. but like mentioned before you may only have 2-3 options for that little motor. usually you have to get into a 40 or larger to get a lot of options.

I did a little research Mcolt. what is the pitch and diameter on your 4 blade. thru hub exhaust and 7 tooth spline. 4 blades are also known for less vibration over the 3 blades. if you do decide to switch to a 3 blade a 1* pitch increase will be comparable. a 6.5* pitch is about the smallest pitch 3 blade available on those motors. 7.5*,8*,and 9* are typical options but im finding way more options than I had planned. the yamahas have the same 7 tooth spline for all motors from 9.9 to 20hp so there are many choices 3 and 4 blade.
