I bought a osprey new it's med draw and I put a muzzy fish hook on it and a nock point and had it shooting bullet wholes in a few shots. I've shot it awesome for the past 3 weeks then I notice the top limb wash out of the pocket. So I let the poundage down took the string off slid the limb back, waxed the string and put it back together. I shot it in the pond to make sure everything was ok and it was kicking the nock of the arrow to the right. No matter what I do it still kicks to the right. I takes to one of the guys at onieda and he said to check my tiller timing. I adjusted it and it is perfect but still kicking bad. I've adjusted my rest, lowered poundage, shot more poundage, shot different arrows and even torque of my wrist. I know it's not my release cos I can pick up one of my menaces and shoot perfect on top of my 6 years of shooting Nasp in the school program. I dont know what to do its driving me nuts cos the arrow ends up 2 ft to the left of where I'm aiming. Any help would be greatly appreciated before this bow is in a cow paster or sunk one! I'm shooting 1 over. I normally shot 3 under but it kicks the arrow terribly 3 under with this bow i dont know y.

When I talked to the guy at oneida I asked about the end caps. He sent me another pair incase they were the reason it poped out. He told me the bows were designed to use the end caps that come on them. I was going to order a set of the awesome 5150 end caps but he said they would take away from the bow. That's just what I was told. I don't want to start a piss match over end caps I just want to know everyone's opinions on what I can do to get my bow back shooting bullet wholes. I love the bow but she's being grumpy right now!

Sounds like your bow has an attitude...bad parenrting is my guess, it'll never shoot right. I'll give you $150today all try and fix that temper. Lol
That doesn't make sense to me but I'm no expert, my first thought is that plastic rest, check it for some sort of cut of abrasion. Next thought is your nock may be contatcting somewhere or slide stop of you're shooting em. Next best guess is the limbs aren't set at the same point. Either way, those limb pockets will work fine and are designed for it...if you never lower the poundage. Once you drop the draw weight you need ae or 5150 pockets.

It's my first oneida so I'm learning. I don't know what the deal is with it. It's defiantly not bad parenting. She's in a soft case and spoilt. But i dont know y it changed all of a sudden it shot perfect with the limb out of pocket and after I put it back and took the string off it went down hill. I guess that's y they say if it ain't broke don't fix it. Looking at the bow from the back should your string line up right down the middle of the riser. To me mine looks like it's to the left side of the riser. The limbs are lined up good tho eyeballing down the string

Try a different rest maybe. I usually get the left/right corrected by adjusting my nock point up or down. Sounds wierd but for some reason that's always worked for me. I've always used epoxy rests also-idiot proof.

End caps are the first to do...I got a set of 5150's and a pair of Joes. I want to say Joes installed a lil easier....I think I had to cut the limbs or something for the others, I dont recall. Id replace em, back it off, tighten it up and re-time it....eyeball your set up overall (rest/nock points) and go from there.

sounds like lots of things have to be just right on lever bows have shot one never owned one have 6 different bows only problem i have when i try some kind of different idea on them until i get it working.

Where can one find the 5150 end caps?
why... if you google gulf coast archery 5150 you will find them... nothing wrong with the end caps but you have to cut your power limbs to make them work... you would be better off using Joe's AE caps IMHO so then if you need to send the bow back to the factory you can with there crappy end caps...
