Need help on a trolling motor, 12v 24v or 36v?

I have a 55 on my 1652 thats heavy as balls, and it does alright but I really want something bigger. If your going to be fishing rivers definitely go with a 24v, I cant even go into the wind unless Im on speed five. If you go with a 55 now you will end up upgrading trust me.
