GOT 2 OF MY BUDDIES GOING TO CHOKE canyon next week, can anybody tell me where to launch and where to start fishing, sure would appreciate it. they are there to work in Austin for aweek and thought they would drag the boat a long.

what is the big lake? the main part or what? I launched at the state park both times i was there 10 years ago, hunted the bay there and then went out around the old powerline road and a little on the south side, then up the river at night until we started seeing snakes in the dead trees, then said ta hell with those things and went back out in open water.

Thanks OBG, glad i'm not going. how big do the buffs get there? SDaw a gator when i was there too, and a commercial gar fisherman. Jugs were out ther being pulled all around
