I need help figuring out how to wire everything to my genny, Kipor 6000 watt invertor genny. What would be the best way to do it if I have the following equipment.

3- 55 amp Iota Convertors

4- 400 watt hps Lights with lumatek digital ballasts

These are the plugs I have and Im thinking about running.

1 dryer plug (4 wires coming out) to the 3 plug extension cord (12 awg) ( I want to run the convertors off these, but they only have 3 wires.)

It looks like you are fixing to try to plug some 120 volt converters into 240 volts. Not a good idea! :td:

This 4 wire plug is for 240 volts.
Red is one hot leg-black is the other hot leg-white is common- green is chassis ground.

If you are trying to carry 240 volts to a junction box and them split the hot legs a 4 wire cord would have been a better choice. Using the cord you have will require you to lose the ground which I'm not fond of doing.
