The blue boxes that say Yamaha are good also. The Eu3000's are around $2,000 but worth every penny.

 

Its a school project guys. Ok bud, aluminum, air cooled (two fans one blowing in one out) leave the factory supports as that is what they are supports, and keep it under 200. hope it helps.

Put a temp gauge in the box with a red light hooked to it so if it starts to heat up the light comes on. You can also get sound board to put on the inside of the box.

 

great input guys, the red light idea and using aluminum is exactly what Im looking for. This is a college project so simple might not get me a A. The water cooled idea was to use a 120v water pump to pump water through copper coiled around the generator. Im not sure how much heat this will dissipate, can run some tests though (also water and electrical doesnt mix).

 

Water through a copper pipe would work, as far as water aNd electricity mixing, we do it with computers all the time.
